Rachel Scott Columbine Prayer is Meditation...

The deep love concealed in this post is not just one voice it is your voice too,  As you can hear inside yourself. Listen with love, read this with love and accept that there has to be another way, The only way.

COLUMBINE STUDENT’S FATHER 12 YEARS LATER.
Guess our national leaders didn’t expect this. On Thursday, Darrell Scott, the father of Rachel Scott, a victim of the Columbine High School shootings in Littleton, Colorado, was invited to address the House Judiciary Committee’s subcommittee. What he said to our national leaders during this special session of Congress was painfully truthful.

They were not prepared for what he was to say, nor was it received well. It needs to be heard by every parent, every teacher, every politician, every sociologist, every psychologist, and every so-called expert. These courageous words spoken by Darrell Scott are powerful, penetrating, and deeply personal. There is no doubt that God sent this man as a voice crying in the wilderness.. The following is a portion of the transcript:

“Since the dawn of creation there has been both good & evil in the hearts of men and women. We all contain the seeds of kindness or the seeds of violence. The death of my wonderful daughter, Rachel Joy Scott, and the deaths of that heroic teacher, and the other eleven children who died must not be in vain. Their blood cries out for answers.

“The first recorded act of violence was when Cain slew his brother Abel out in the field. The villain was not the club he used.. Neither was it the NCA, the National Club Association. The true killer was Cain, and the reason for the murder could only be found in Cain’s heart.

“In the days that followed the Columbine tragedy, I was amazed at how quickly fingers began to be pointed at groups such as the NRA. I am not a member of the NRA. I am not a hunter. I do not even own a gun. I am not here to represent or defend the NRA – because I don’t believe that they are responsible for my daughter’s death.

Therefore I do not believe that they need to be defended. If I believed they had anything to do with Rachel’s murder I would be their strongest opponent.

I am here today to declare that Columbine was not just a tragedy — it was a spiritual event that should be forcing us to look at where the real blame lies! Much of the blame lies here in this room. Much of the blame lies behind the pointing fingers of the accusers themselves. I wrote a poem just four nights ago that expresses my feelings best.

Your laws ignore our deepest needs,
Your words are empty air.
You’ve stripped away our heritage,
You’ve outlawed simple prayer.
Now gunshots fill our classrooms,
And precious children die.
You seek for answers everywhere,
And ask the question “Why?”
You regulate restrictive laws,
Through legislative creed.
And yet you fail to understand,
That God is what we need!

“Men and women are three-part beings. We all consist of body, mind, and spirit. When we refuse to acknowledge a third part of our make-up, we create a void that allows evil, prejudice, and hatred to rush in and wreak havoc. Spiritual presences were present within our educational systems for most of our nation’s history. Many of our major colleges began as theological seminaries. This is a historical fact. What has happened to us as a nation? We have refused to honor God, and in so doing, we open the doors to hatred and violence. And when something as terrible as Columbine’s tragedy occurs — politicians immediately look for a scapegoat such as the NRA. They immediately seek to pass more restrictive laws that contribute to erode away our personal and private liberties. We do not need more restrictive laws. Eric and Dylan would not have been stopped by metal detectors. No amount of gun laws can stop someone who spends months planning this type of massacre. The real villain lies within our own hearts.

“As my son Craig lay under that table in the school library and saw his two friends murdered before his very eyes, he did not hesitate to pray in school. I defy any law or politician to deny him that right! I challenge every young person in America , and around the world, to realize that on April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School prayer was brought back to our schools. Do not let the many prayers offered by those students be in vain. Dare to move into the new millennium with a sacred disregard for legislation that violates your God-given right to communicate with Him. To those of you who would point your finger at the NRA — I give to you a sincere challenge.. Dare to examine your own heart before casting the first stone!

My daughter’s death will not be in vain! The young people of this country will not allow that to happen!”

Do what the media did not – - let the nation hear this man’s speech. Please send this out to everyone you can.

God Bless

Amazing way of stating the obvious. The dark age it seems as this caused outrage and we truly didn’t hear it as strong as it should have been when it was stated to the humans who heard this message.

They have not addressed each of you about it as a human elected by other humans who are looking out for you in the states you live within.

With light coming everywhere this came from this father who’s daughter is still very much connected to him.  What if this was the place we all continue to point to that we need to make a stronger stand within?  It is the place between the places of the mind!  It is the place that true wealth is found.  Not in the absence of what objects do.  But how we interact with the objects because of a lack that is not been placed with love inside of it!

Prayer – Is the meditation that will connect you to God. It doesn’t need religion to connect. It is the pathway of how we all could connect to each other in the place before all things that are not beyond us but are us!  I am not one to speak of religion but I am one who can point inside of you!  The value of the human spirit is undervalued because of the places of the mind that seem to outweigh it when we need something more than answers that we place in schools, education and even any interaction we make with each other.  We crucify the acts and punish the people yet we never live long enough to embrace the power of the places within love inside of ourselves to give love over that punishment.

When reading this, it gave strength to the vibrant places of the soul that needed light to know that it exist.  How much love can always bring strength?

There are children on this planet who have never been kissed or held as a child. You might even be one of those children, or you were abused, attacked, or witnessed random acts of violence never to know of love inside of it!  A child  will go throughout their lives never seeing the connection in physical and will never know a love of embracing. They will never see the innocence in it to know the precious now that it brings to all the parents who feel it within themselves and within the existence shared.

Our laws, Our rules we will teach disconnection never seeing the punishment it makes to wake what continues to lie dormant in sleep to protect ourselves and each other.  The true place of love is not in acceptance of this. True love doesn’t need acceptance. It is a seed planted waiting to grow in each one of us.

For this to change each existence is responsible for believing in unconditional love inside the soul of each existence in forgiveness. You have a choice today to show unconditional love in prayer with connected meditation to share a moment of silence to hear something deeper inside to know that love doesn’t need your mind. It needs your attention beyond the mind.

If you are alone, then meditation will emit the same energy and connect you to know you are never alone. It is a word with little to no meaning. Make each day a meditation to express in love. It matters not the ignoring we continue to do one another and the laws that were created to keep us from each other. Acts of kindness, giving, expressions of love to fellow man.  We have tried this way for far to long. As a friend would say isn’t insanity doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result.

You don’t make this change tomorrow or you did so yesterday, you make this change NOW.. in the NOW as it is always NOW.

What would be a first step is sending a letter to the committee that heard this and asking for a response to the statements made! It wouldn’t be the first time we spoke with one voice from a place of existence. We did so in unison in birth. We all made the cry of love. Isn’t it time it was heard in this form?

Love deeply in the now for the now is all you ever have.

Wanna have good, positive, helpful, inspirational messages on your wall?

What do you think?

I really like the words “Prayer – Is the meditation that will connect you to God. It doesn’t need religion to connect”. I feel that religion has become the world’s devider, but God and prayer remain universal. And other intresting posts about life & health, I will be back here many times. Thank you for sharing this and for finding me! Welcome back soon.

Thank you PanyaRoute! If united in prayer directly this is meditation in union to one source that doesn’t need our thought! It needs our connection!
